About Stephanie
Stephanie Augusta Bento is a cellist, writer, and founder of House of Riverenza.
As a cellist, Stephanie seeks to create a new sound by reinventing familiar songs and putting a modern twist on classic American tunes and spiritual hymns. Her debut album, Battle Blessed, was released on July 4, 2024, and is available on all major music streaming platforms. An anthem of victory, this Americana instrumental album reimagines traditional patriotic songs and beloved Christian hymns for today. The album is ultimately a story about America, comprised of songs that celebrate the history and beauty of our nation and hymns that honor God with praise, including beloved favorites such as “The Star Spangled Banner / Amazing Grace,” “It Is Well With My Soul,” and “America the Beautiful.” All songs are recorded in 528 Hz, which is known as a Biblical healing frequency.
Stephanie’s music has been featured in playlists and international publications, including Songxplode, New Indie Radar, and Nagamag.
Her creative writing can be found on Substack, where she writes a weekly devotional and meditations on faith, creativity, history, and other inspirational content.
Stephanie combines her passion for music, the creative arts, love for America, and professional experience in content creation at House of Riverenza, a publishing imprint and record label she created in collaboration with her mother M. Carolina Bento. House of Riverenza’s mission is to publish both artful creative writing that inspires readers to live life with hope as well as produce inspirational music.
